Great mood setter. Plenty bright low profile. Fun! *by B***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2018* I got 2 sets of these lights for young outdoor trees at a lake cottage back yard fire pit area which is often the place to be now. Everybody loves these lights and the kids of course like the tech of the phone remote (me too). The setting is up close and personal so they are more than bright enough -really- so much so, at times I wish there was a dimmer function. The small bulbs and thinner colored wires are quite inconspicuous during the day. The bulbs have a well encapsulated design for weather and secure indvidual connections. Despite the wire's delicate feel, they are rugged enough. They have survived several strong storms and frisbee hits already. I like the closer bulb spacing. There are many basic, modifiable programs and you can create your own. There is no chase pattern, but after the novelty wears off, the more mellow settings are most commonly used. (fade between colors would be nice) However with disco mode etc. , they can be very busy and interactive when good times call for it. There are 7 solid colors. You cant blend them on the app's palate wheel as I had assumed. A review on a shorter string model stated his controller didnt fair so well in the rain. I put mine in plastic baggies, leaving the zip lock open and facing down for no humidity build up, and semi burried in mulch. Like I said, several rain storms later...no problems so far. A bit pricy, but exactly what I was looking for and im very pleased.I'd say they have been worth it already with the times we've had. I've heard them described as very cool by young and old alike. I'll report if or when they fail. ### ⭐⭐ Ok but should be improved *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2019* These lights mostly work well. My main issue is that I keep having to reboot them because they stop syncing. So far every time I add a custom color combination or switch modes they need to be rebooted.Also, when I bought these I thought that the "combination" function would look like traditional multicolor Christmas lights but instead it just flashes between the different colors. It is doing the same thing as the "seven colors strobe alternately," very disappointing.I wish that they could be set to custom color combinations that stay lit, rather than having to flash between the different colors. An update to the app should be able to do this. Even if it could only do combinations of two colors it would be great. I would like blue and cyan for winter, red and purple for Valentine's Day, green and white for St Patrick's Day, etc. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great color, nice and bright. *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2018* So, I do like these lights. They have some very nice color and are nice and bright.
