Nice, simple scarf.
This is on the small'ish side, and looks just like the photo when tied. If you need a red accent,, this will not overpower your outfit. It is more chiffon than silky. Because it is smaller than most scarves, it is easy to tie on quickly to accent an outfit.

For Adults Too
I recently had a thyroidectomy. I have a 5 inch surgery scar on the front of my neck. I wanted a light weight scarf I can wear daily like a choker, with no tail. Adult scarves are too long for this. This child scarf works great. It just fits around my neck after I tie it. I tuck the short ends underneath.
