How long is the actual lit bit, and how long is the lead cable please?

These cluster light a beautiful, they are long enough to go across a king-size bed with hanging light down the side and I now have them on a large Xmas garland on my fire place the flex is long enough to hide. Hope this helps 🙂

How do i use the timer function as lost the instructions

Buttons translate as follows : Hope this helps. Timer button - press for 6hours On, 18 Hours Off Power On and off button red and green 1-Combination 3-Sequential 5-Chasing/Flash 7-Twinkle/Flash Brightness- right button 2-In Wave 4-Slo Glo 6-Slow Fade 8-Steady On Brightness+ right button

Do you have to use the 6/18hour timer?

It's up to you, dear customer, you can choose 'TIMER' on remote as 6/18 hour timer setting or just press '8' as steady on for instant use. :)

How long do thr batteries last?

I only use these over the Christmas period, but I found that one set of batteries lasted the two week period & where on about 5-6 hours a day. Hope this helps.
