    Can't Pass with this study book!

I have studied for two other tests with similar books and had no problem, passed the first time. Not this book. I sat down to take my test with confidence and soon realized that about 60% of the test was not covered in this book. I did not pass this test and I wasted my time and money, now I have to take it again! I am left embarrassed and angry. I got a new book and just flipping through it I instantly noticed topics from the test (that was not mentioned in this book) I am not sure if this book is outdated or just lacks a lot of the necessary information in order to pass.

This book is all over the place. Mentions Piaget but then doesn't go on to list what I should remember about his stages of developement. Also mentions different methods but doesn't go on to explain what they are. Not good for someone who left teaching a while ago and needs a refresher.  It was like that throughout the book. I'm going to order a different one to see if it's any better.
