Murderous Maths X 10 Books Slip

I am a Maths teacher and get really fed up with kids only seeing Maths as something they have to do and will never do again! This series of books shows a funny side of my subject and also makes maths cool. The books are humourous, entertaining and full of interesting facts about various topics in maths. If you like things like Horrible Histories and Horrible Science - then these books are very similar but for maths Love them! Give them a go

Our nine year old boy is facinated by these books, some maths are above him but he keeps reading for the jokes and the interesting facts. Also great read for adults great explanations very good buy!

Daughter (8 yo) can read these books on her own and obviously finds the contents interesting and memorable as she enjoys sharing various mathematical facts with us! A good read for adults too.

Suits ages 8 and up. I really liked the cartoons and the simple explanations of all sorts of maths problems. Same style as horrendous histories. Great buy.

My 9 year old son is into maths and really likes these books. They are full of interesting maths facts and fun problems to solve. He will read them all, cover to cover. The books are small and paper quality is not the best. Text seems quite small. There are many, really good illustrations but they are black and white. I would have liked to have paid more for a larger format book, on better paper with larger, more colourful illustrations. My son likes them so happy with purchase, but could be better.

Superb value for money pack, that my Daughter has enjoyed reading and dare I say has helped here with her maths

I teach maths at night supplementing school maths, sometimes to studentswho find maths hard, and sometimes to the very bright...both kinds of students love these books. They present maths and applied maths in such lively, easy-to-grasp ways. Hooray!

We bought this for our sons 11th birthday and he is maths mad!! He loves them .. even laughing at how problems are solved. If you have a maths genius these are the books for them,cant go wrong!

These are my son’s favorite math books. He has learned a lot from them, including fun math games, clever tricks, and even some introductory-level (early university-style) problems. They are very helpful in building children’s interest in math and making learning more engaging.

I bought this set for my 10 year old son, who loved the Horrible Histories and Horrible Science series. He has just started the Geography set and asked for the Math set too. First impressions are very promising. A fun and entertaining series. My son is very happy with this!
