## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to read.
*by A***S on February 27, 2024*

A good and easy way to know. Euripides.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is known as the best literal translation (word for word) that exists
*by H***R on January 4, 2017*

This is known as the best literal translation (word for word) that exists...or so I read.. There's another (probably many to be honest) by Nagy which is also great (and free on line...) but this one reads well and makes the point. Maybe a translation that was more poetic could communicate more of the spiritual content...or symbolic content... But this has the literary content, pure, simple and direct.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonder translation, better in the Greek
*by D***N on December 11, 2010*

Wonderful to have the Greek and English together. A must for reading the correct words especially "ouranos" for sky, NOT heaven. "Hades" NOT hell. "Kakodaimon" for unfortunate. Although the translator did use words that were not in existence in the 5th century Athens in English, as already mentioned: heaven, hell, sin, and blessed.
