Do not use it during the day or in the morning. At night, after washing and showering (make sure your armpits are clean and dry), roll it on and let it dry. It will work overnight to help eliminate the bacteria that cause the odor in the first place. It should last up to 72 hours. I usually put it on most nights, but it still works if you forget a day here or there. Also, it works better over time, so definitely give it at least 2-3 weeks to work. If you wear anti-perspirant during the day, this will help reduce overall odor. If you take the plunge and go down the no-aluminum, only deodorant rabbit hole (which I did), I found that it took a couple of months to adjust, and then my body didn't sweat as much. When I plug everything up with antiperspirant, my body works harder (and stinks worse! and everything gets stained!). But when I go only deodorant, then things seem to calm down.
