is this 606.124 or 606.125? For 2000 3.2 engines you can't use 606.125 unless it came with that one from the factory.

This part is actually a 996.606.123. According to the "Check Fit" option on the Amazon site, this does fit the 2000 3.2 with the following note: Plug-in sensor, single, without Electronic Traction Control

What issues would i see if i use this maf when my car does have the traction control option?

This sensor has no direct connection to traction control. MAF senses amount of intake air only.

IT WORKED AS EXPECTED AND SAVE ME $$$

Easy replacement and worked like a CHARM!!!! Garage Queen Porsche Boxster had rough idle and would not stay running. I bought a OBD II tester from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G5EA74I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and quickly found the code that indicated fault with this mass air flow sensor. Did notice that to get the sensor out and back in I needed special star tool (secure) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BFINNJQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 so my total bill was about $170 (lightening deal on OBB II and price on Sensor dropped). From what I could see on Internet, appears I saved several hundred dollars on NOT taking this to a shop. Been a month and Boxster still running like a charm!

Génial La qualité Bosch ! C'est parfait. Nous ne sommes pas sur de la chinoiserie à 10€ là ! Suite au remplacement de mon débitmètre, Plus de codes d'erreur, moteur plus souple à bas régime. Ralenti plus stable. Aucun regret sur mon achat.
