For example, I had 5 medium sized russet potatoes that I cooked and mashed and fit in the smaller compartment of all 5 containers. I also had one pound of cooked and crumbled ground beef (mixed with gravy and seaonings) and managed to fit it in 2 of the larger compartments. All the food from the example went up to the top of the middle divider. I had these full of food for a week or so in the freezer. I took one out the day before and put it in the fridge and the next day I put it in my HotLogic mini. The lid was on but loose in the HotLogic.
