I installed my usual favourites and did a speedtest. The unit is connected by ethernet to a good quality TP link Range Extender. Because the X96 Max has a Gigabit Ethernet port speeds as expected are superb. Even though I am connected in the way described I am getting a consistent 220mbs.The unit streams smoothly with no buffering and super quality HD channels are so bright, crisp and clear everything becomes a pleasure to watch.Having owned this units smaller relative, I know how reliable they are, I am confident this model will deliver a few years of excellent service.To anyone considering an Android TV Box buy this one, I am in my 70's and I have no problem with this straightforward and fantastic method of aquiring a wide variety of entertainment.In operation the unit feels very slightly warm to touch so it is well designed and disipates heat very well. Considering how well the unit operates, and with it's specs, it is fairly priced. Overall I would say this has to be one of the better boxes of the current ones available.
