Looks great, but doesn't fit any shaft I own
The bridge looks fine, but unfortunately I cannot try it out to report on how it actually works. The hole to attach it to the bridge cue has a rubber grommet, but it is much too large for my dedicated bridge cue. I have a regular moose style bridge head that fits perfectly on this shaft, so this hole/grommet is larger than that one. As it is right now, it slides about 6 inches down the shaft. It is also a little too small for my break cue so it won't go over the tip. I'm not sure what size I need, probably something in a 12.5mm would work, but don't quote me on that. It would be nice if that was listed in the product description. [This is why I'm only giving it three stars]That being said, I do have some impressions to share. The overall quality appears to be quite good. The jump hole pivots freely. I did try to slide my playing cue around in the jump hole, and there is a lot of play because the hole is very wide, certainly wide enough to accept any playing cue. I've jumped with a regular bridge, and one problem I have is seeing the point of contact. With this design, you can see through the bridge and under the shaft, so I think it will work great if I can figure out how to attach it to my bridge cue. Also, if you aren't sure whether you should get the "Short" one or the tall one, be warned that the short one is quite large. It is larger than a standard Moose style bridge head and barely fits in the top pocket of my case. The tall one must look ridiculous, and I can't conceive of ever needing that.
