I bought a lighter to usb adapter to go along with it. I mounted the screen on a phone holder rather than the included mount. I spliced together the camera and screen cable that way they work from the same single power source and can turn on as soon as the chair turns on. It works great but the camera sucks! It's very blurry and not in focus. The best I can say about the camera is that it lets you know about the area behind you. Contrast and brightness adjustments make no difference. The scale lines are, unexpected to me, no accurate reference for distance or position.I bought this primarily for safety and for the wireless hookup. I have aftermarket LED reverse lighting in my '06 Jeep which create serious electromagnetic noise and didn't want that in this camera.On the up side, the camera's long cable means you can mount it on campers and trailers. Mine's on the roof rack. It's easy to hook up but I'm not real fond of the provided splice connectors. Make sure you tape them up when your finished with your hook up. I mounted mine to the driver corner of the windshield so that it's not a long look from the side mirror.For added safety this is a nice, easy setup.
