The single worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. I felt the side of my face was being electrocuted constantly. After attending the dentist, I got the tooth packed and it helped massively. I discovered this is the same stuff they use. If you have dry socket please get this! It will save you from 20/10 pain. Clean the area with some salt water, disinfectant some tweezers and pack it in. It might tingle on your gums and tounge if it touches. But it will help! I recommend doing it at night. Last a few hours but can repack. Note it isn't a paste per say. It's fibres but when you pack it in and it makes contact with saliva it can become paste like.
