Crate 61 Organics, Handmade in Canada, Plant Based Cold Process Natural Bar Soap, With Premium Essential Oils, Dry Skin, Pack of 6 (Citrus)

I have been researching natural soaps to reduce plastic waste. I decided to try these because they appear to check all my boxes without spending more on some of the other brands of similar quality. I cannot use synthetic fragrances but love natural scents. I read the one star reviews and noticed that a lot of people expect the natural fragrances to last like synthetic, but the reality is that they are not supposed to because they don't contain the harmful chemicals that give synthetic fragrances their staying power. They do provide an aromatic shower experience and they lather well and are moisturizing. I found that one bar lasted me about 2 1/2 weeks with almost daily showers. I have so far only used the bars without grit and I think the description should indicate which bars contain grit for exfoliation, however these assortments give you the chance to try different levels of exfoliation. I like supporting companies that this that are trying to help make sustainability affordable.

Very happy with this purchase! I chose the citrus assortment, and they smell good overall; I started with my least favorite, so each time I start a new bar it's better than the one before. But there are none I actually dislike. They lather up really well, don't dry my skin out, and rinse off nicely (I strongly dislike soaps that leave my skin feeling all slippery). I was a little hesitant after reading the reviews that said they only lasted a few showers, but that hasn't been true for me. I've had them a couple days short of 6 months, shower every other day unless it's really hot out, and I use a terrycloth washcloth with lots of soap rubbed on to wash from neck to feet (also have more than average skin surface area as a tall size 2-3X). As of this morning the bar I'm currently using has about 1/4 to 1/5 left, and there's still one bar left in the box. When they get really thinned down I press them onto the new bar and they meld onto it nicely with one or two uses. I'm absolutely reordering these, and I love that they're Canadian-made!

Love this soap. I was using Jukebox, but I'm making the switch. Crate 61 feels better on my skin, the bars last a little longer and the 6 pack is $15 cheaper than I was paying for 6 bars with the Jukebox subscription. I get extremely dirty at my job so I tend to go through soap faster than the average women. Jukebox bars would last me about 4 days. These will last 6 or 7 days. Jukebox bars were a definite upgrade from body wash, but it would irritate the sensitive areas. I don't have that issue with this soap. Jukebox bars smell nice in the shower, but I feel like the scent didn't last beyond that. Crate 61 leaves a pleasantly subtle smell on my skin after showering. The only benefit with Jukebox is that you can choose the individual soaps in your 6 pack, rather than selecting one of the collections.

I’ve been using the Crate 61 Citrus Bar Soap for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed! The natural ingredients and plant-based formula are gentle on my dry skin, leaving it feeling soft and hydrated after every use. The citrus scent is refreshing but not overpowering, which I love. The bars also last a long time, so it's great value for money. Plus, it's handmade in Canada with premium essential oils, making it a product I feel good about using daily. Highly recommend!

Excellent Craft Organic Soap, excellent price, excellent quality, finally found a good quality soap without aluminum ingredients.

I look forward to showering because the ginger & cardamom scent is so wonderful. <3 They work well at removing bad smells and leave your skin feeling soft and clean. I have sensitive skin and they don't irritate my skin at all. No dry skin or flakiness after using it daily. The smell is seriously divine.

My 2nd box: really enjoy the assorted scents. I tend to bore with redundancy, so being able to choose a different scent makes me happy. They’re fresh and subtle which is great for someone that gets migraines from over powering scents.

Crate 61 has been tied for my number 1 soap company for as long as I can remember. They’ve always set the bar. Anytime I shop specialty soaps, I always compare them back to c61. “Ehh those are elite but Crate 61 is better”. These people know what they’re doing. The product is perfect and always exactly as advertised. I’ve had so many different groovy styles and packages over the years and they’ve all come through. Excellent company.

Great fragrance, good lather, feel super clean and leave you smelling amazing

Got mould smell , and tried to returned the items but nobody came to pick it up and the email got rejected now

Second time I’ve bought the same box. I love the scents and the feel. I don’t let anyone else use mine, so they last me like a normal bar would. Very happy with this companies product, going to try other scents next time :)
