KabelDirekt – 8K DisplayPort & DP Cable – 10ft

I searched for 'quality cables' and these came up in several glowing reviews so I decided to try them. The cables and connectors are quite thick, so you may have to put a partial loop in the cables when hooking them up to your monitor. I have a half loop in mine after routing them through my wall mounted monitor stand to give them some room for movement and it works great. The connectors are large and rectangular, so the fit in my RTX 3700 was snug. There was no sloppiness or movement with the connection. And of course the picture was flawless. Would buy again

These cables work like they should. I use a 15' one on my 1920x1200 60hz monitor. I've successfully daisychained this one to another monitor, same specs, with a 10' cable between them. My computer did sometimes have issues detecting the monitors in this configuration, but I think it may have been pushing the limits. It usually worked fine and there were never dropouts once up and running. When directly connecting each monitor to the PC there are no issues whatsoever. I've added a 1080p 240hz monitor to my setup and am using a 10' cable on it -- there are no connectivity issues at all and it's operating at 240hz. I'm very happy with the quality of these KabelDirekt cables. They're sturdy and you can feel the quality. The ends have a satin finish and a locking mechanism. I've tried cheaper cables of similar lengths and had blackout issues. These are well worth the extra cost.

This cable is clearly labeled as VESA certified and 8k*60hz. A lot of other cables out there are confusingly labeled as to what they support, and with how Amazon works switching between lengths can change the specs! No issues like that with this cable; piece of mind. I'm running 4k@144hz(display port 1.4 with DSC) with zero issues. It's built like a tank; solid connectors and thick cable. Used the included straps doubled up to secure it to my monitor arms it carries the cable weight on my sit/stand desk instead of my monitor jack. A little more expensive compared to a lot of other cables out there, but getting exactly what is advertised in this case is the right quality to price trade off for me.

I did some research, as ive not really followed Video Cables since the DVI series and HDMI released. I heard of Display Port and never really thought of it since it wasnt really a fully supported cable for several years. Now its come along quite a bit and honestly, even though you cant really tell of the bat, its a much better Video Cable than HDMI for PC Gaming. Now there is quite a few types out there and only one version that is not marketed yet. The most stable version for this generation is the Display Port Cable 1.4. Just wondering when Display Ports will be added to TV's in the future, because its going to have to happen for Console Video Game Systems at some point. I have bought quite a few different types of cables from Ethernet CAT 6, to Fiber Optic Audio, to the Display port from KabelDirect. I have not been disappointed at all. With this Display Port 1.4 from Kabeldirect, the one major thing I noticed, less screen tearing without vsync enabled on games. Its still there without VSync on, but not as badly as with HDMI, which honestly I dont understand (I really do understand, just more of being baffled) because both cables are very similar in design, just DP does not carry audio. There is more fluidity when playing games, less frame desyncing and I would say about 3-5 frame increase at minimum which can be huge if youre a competitive gamer.

This is one of those rare occasions when I feel compelled to write a review on something as peripheral as a cable. It is also one of the only times that I have had the experience of having something that cost me so little producing a significant impact on my computing experience. I bought this cable as a replacement for an older Display Port (1.4) cable that had some cosmetic damage as a result of trouble with the locking mechanism designed into some models (the one feature that seems to have always caused me difficulty with these). In any case, upon replacement, the KableDireckt cable produced a discernable uptick in what I was seeing onscreen. Now, I have always held to the dictum that a cable is a cable, except in the case of ethernet, where I have actually been able to solve some problems with a better manufactured product. However, I am going to say that this Display Port cable from KableDireckt actually produced an improvement in clarity and color fidelity. How does that work? In all honesty I don't quite know. However, I will say that it is an extraordinarily well constructed cable. You will find it to be heavier than the average cable of equal capacity. The housing of the cable ends are also impressive. My advice? Give them a try, because I have absolutely no regrets.

I am a split user. MacOS and Windows10. I use one for professional use and one for gaming use. This cable offers amazing quality so long as you use Windows10. Using MacOS with latest update I am getting a pink screen tint image. No matter what Hz I set it too or color setting I adjust it too. When I use it in windows10 it works amazing at 144hz and handles the bandwidth via my matching frame-rate. For gaming its amazing but I cannot give it 5 stars due to the quirks with handshaking with MacOS systems. Ran tests native via GPU DP1.2 and 1.4 port and also running to a ViewSonic 144hz 1080p with a DP 1.2 port. The MacBook Pro was using a Thunderbolt3 Elgato Dock with a DP 1.2 port. Mind you I use this cable on a Windows10 machine. Works just fine. A boot-camped MacBook Pro 16inch in MacOS native operating system, just a pink screen. The cable works however on a bootcamp'd MBP which is an Apple product. It is so weird. Works on a MacBook Pro so long as your machine is bootcamp'd with Windows10. Will give you a pink screen if you use it with MacOS. Still love the build quality of the cable and the durable pin snap button.

The price is good. The construction seems very solid, and I like the locking DP connectors. These cables are certified. Go to the vesa . org site, search, and you will see it. Many cables are not certified or not for the bandwidth/level you might expect. I drive an LG 27GN950-B 4k 144Hz monitor with that (with a 3080 card). It uses DSC (display stream compression, a feature of DP 1.4) to be able to push 10 bits 4k at 144Hz. Regular cables fail, these work. And they are not crazy expensive. I use a 6 feet version, so something to keep in mind. The longer the cable, the harder it is to keep the errors low enough to not have any problems. I have not tried to drive my monitor at 160Hz with this, as it's pointless for video games, and useless for using Windows. I saw many reports in forums of success with these cables and the monitor in overclock mode. I bought 3 more of these cables to drive a DP KVM switch for another computer (2 sources, one 1440 144HZ G-Sync monitor), and added a miniDP to DP from the same manufacturer as I was satisfied that they worked great. "Club 3D" cables are also good and certified if these are out of stock.

If you're looking for a super high quality VESA certified DP cable because the one you're using now is giving you severe screen flashing, trust me from the bottom of my heart this cable is worth it. Not all screen flashing is eliminated, but coming from a "Ivanky" DP cable that flashed a LOT it was reduced dramatically and noticeably. I was skeptical, but super glad to be proven wrong. The clamps are super sweet and easy to use. If you have trouble using them... god help your soul. I've read some reviews that the cable snapped off, and that it was hard to get out. Honestly people... are some of you that dense that you can't figure out how to get the cable off easily and you're snapping cables in the PC? Then leaving a bad review because of YOUR mistake? LOL! The cable is very high quality, and it does in FACT reduce screen flickering to a minimum, I paid about 20 bucks to get it shipped same day. TVESA certification matters, no doubt about it in my mind now. Will continue to buy from people like them who test things from now on. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED JUST BUY IT NOW! lol.

Lo compré para sustituir el cable que venía junto con mi monitor QHD de 27 pulgadas ya que era más delgado y más corto. Éste es más grueso y los conectores que van a los puertos de DisplayPort se mantienen muy firmes. Mi monitor tiene una tasa de refresh de 144Hz, utilizo FreeSync y la PC no tuvo ningún problema para detectar esas características. Me enteré de esta marca y cable por comentarios que leí sobre el pin 20, ya que dicho pin lleva corriente y se utiliza para energizar dispositivos sin necesidad de fuente externa. Si bien también han comentado que si tu tarjeta de video fue fabricado después del 2017, entonces no deberías tener problemas, creo que no está de más asegurarse que el fabricante del cable cumpla su certificación VESA, y KabelDirekt es uno de ellos

Cable DP de 3m que ha superado mis espectativas. Pensaba que iba a ser más rígido ya que es más grueso que el del monitor Asus que trae de fábrica, y no ha sido así. Está instalado en un brazo de pared y he hecho las curvas de forma fácil, con escasa resistencia. Al intentar sacar el cable del monitor no podía, y resulta que trae las uñas retráctiles para que no se salga. Hay que presionar cerca del conector que es donde está el mecanismo. Producto recomendado y comprado en oferta flash, así que el precio genial también.

I bought two of these cables and from what I can see so far there has been no stuttering or black screening whatsoever. In terms of quality they feel very premium compared to the cables that came with my monitors. Overall very good cables.
