Is is machine washable?

This bag is not able to be machine washed or put on a spin cycle

Hello, does the main compartment of this bag have a zip? thanks!

Yes one for the main bag a small zipped compartment on the outside and another on the inside. It holds mat +blocks + trigger balls and other personal bits.

Is this comfortable to carry as a back pack?

This is not really a back pack, it’s a bag to carry, or put over one shoulder. I’ve only ever carried it from my class to my car, but it’s a good sized bag, and I’ve used for my knee pads and also put my blocks on top (I don’t think it zipped closed when I did that), but I like the bag, it’s nice quality and I’ve been really happy with it.

Will a 62cm pilates mat fit in this bag?

Thanks for your question. The Dimensions of the bag are- 83cm x 30cm x 20cm. So yes, this should fit your 62cm wide mat. Thanks, Divine Yoga Shop
