Lip Balm Tin - Minted Rose 0.8oz

I keep buying this product over and over again because I love it so much. It is a wonderful balm to apply to lips and other areas of the face that need a bit of shine or moisture. For example, I use this when I have a cold and my nose starts to get raw from rubbing with tissues. I like the Minted Rose better than the plain because I really enjoy mint as a flavor and scent, but the other flavors/scents are wonderful as well. The mint scent in this balm is very light, and you can really smell/taste both the rose and mint essences. This is a very soft balm so is prone to melting in hot weather. Make sure that you store it right-side-up if you leave it in a vehicle. Though, because it is in a metal container, there is an easy solution if you find that the balm has melted into the lid and become a mess. Just put the balm (closed) into a 200-degree oven and leave it for about 15-20 minutes. Then, leave a room temperature (or put it in the fridge for faster cooling) until it cools, and you'll find that the balm has dripped down into the bottom again and it's good as new!

Color - There really is no color in this product, so while it initially appears pink, somehow it is transparent on my lips. So for the male buyers, don't worry! Application - It's very, very smooth and easy to dig out of the large, deep container and smooths on easily. Once it's on, it doesn't last very long, but once it wears away, it leaves your lips feeling anything but chapped. I've been using it all week, and my lips are incredibly smooth and soft feeling Chapped Lips - it works great on chapped lips and not only does it ease the pain, it helps your lips to stop being chapped unlike some chap sticks that just make your lips more chapped in order to make you use more of it. Softness - It's very soft on the lips and doesn't feel waxy Smell - It smells originally like mint, but the longer it's on your lips, the more subtle and rosy it smells. Very nice, somehow not too feminine, but not too masculine.

This is the best product ever! I was getting horribly chapped lips at work due to a dry environment and talking on the phone pretty much all day. I bought this and after one day my lips were soooo soft. Then yesterday a nasty cold hit me and I was wiping my nose constantly. Today my nose was chapped and sore and on a whim I decided to put some of this on my nose. Wow!! Not only was it soothing, the mint helped to open up my nasal passages. I love this stuff so much. The scent is lovely and not too heavy and a little goes a long way so this tin will last a long time.

I love the Rosebud Salve all the way around but I didn’t realize this was MINTED Rose. No biggie, still makes my lips feel great.

This is, hands down, my favorite lip balm. I googled lip balm suggestions hoping to find a product that would help my chapped lips and happened to stumble upon Smith's. Coming from Southern California, where the weather is consistently dry, I really needed something to keep my lips from flaking and cracking. I am not a fan of lip products that feel heavy and look incredibly shiny. I have bangs and hate it when my hair sticks against my lips. Just a thin layer of this product goes a long way, and it feels so light! At night, I apply a thicker layer and have noticed that my lips looked visibly plumper the following morning. They also feel incredibly soft. Before work, I lightly dab the tip of my ring finger in the pot once, and that amount is more than enough to hydrate my lips for a few hours. The tin can be difficult to open at times, but only if my hands are wet, or if I've recently applied lotion. As long as you make sure your hands are clean and dry, you shouldn't have any problems. I actually quite like the packaging. It's absolutely adorable. I would buy this lip balm time and time again. I like it so much, I've already placed an order for the 3-tin variety pack. The only thing I wish their products came with was SPF.

Really help keep your lips hydrated and protected in all weather conditions. I bought some for my boyfriend, who plays baseball all summer/fall, when the hot sun is brutal on your skin. He keeps it in his kit bag, away from the sun so it won't turn into goo. Lol!

This is my all time favorite lip balm. It goes on smooth, smells pretty, and has a light pink tint to it. It's also soothing to chapped lips because it is minted. I bought my first tin several years ago at a Ricky's in NYC and wasn't able to find it again until I randomly saw they also sell this brand at American apparel. I'm happy they have it here and I will be ordering it again when I run out (lasts me about a year on average). I've also tried the strawberry lip balm and it's also very nice.
