IT WORKED!!! - For the past 20 years when I've had our septic pumped there has always been some back-flow from the fields back into the tank. Because of this all the reports said, "leach fields appear to be failing". I knew this couldn't be true because we've never had a backup into the house and we have always had our tank pumped during the winter when we've had a lot of rain. Fields still clear!! *by N***V on March 7, 2018* Just thought I would provide another update and after 9 years my fields are still clear - I dump two gallons every six months into my last septic tank which gets pumped into the fields. (This is an updated review after 4 1/2 years - still using the product every 6 months and septic fields are still working great! As stated initially below, septic field failures are hard to diagnose. But once you get it cleared out, use this product to keep it clear.) It would be really hard to state that this item does or does not work. Septic field problems can be caused by so many different things as I have found out. When my fields failed, common sense told me that some liquid in a bottle was not going to fix my problem. I had my lines jetted first and then used a service that performs the "ground fracking" method to open clogged soil. Before they left they told me to use a product like this every 6 months to continually keep the soil conditioned. That was 2 1/2 years ago. My fields are still working and I cant tell for sure if this product works or doesn't. It was based on their recommendation. Since I haven't had any problems, I would say that it works.
