Remember watching this movie as a kid and hadn't seen it in a very long time and had to pick this one up for my collection of horror films. It's an absolute fun watch and it's a nod to the slasher genre.

Very cool movie. It has a great documentary. You really get let in on the way they made the movie.

Roses are red, violets are blue...they'll need dental records to identify you. I've always liked this movie since release and have no regrets. Who needs an expensive night out on the night for lovers when you can pop this in and enjoy your night all the same. Shame that Warner Bros is broke and no real plans to have this converted to 4k so this is the best update we have and it's a really big step up from vhs and standard dvd.

lacks what an "excellent slasher" provides such as character development, a high level of suspense, gore, sensuality, etc but it's decent enough to keep you guessing at least half way through, until you obviously know who the masked killer is...overall i’m happy it finally got a bluray release but it is still EXTREMELY OVERPRICED, As all Scream Factory Releases are...i'd give it a watch but its only a one timer in my opinion...

Cuando ‘Scream’ se estrenó, reinvento el género del terror, específicamente el slasher, trayéndolo de vuelta a la pantalla grande. Siendo muy popular en los 80’s, regreso en los 90’s con buenas entregas como ‘I know what you did Last Summer’, ‘Urban Legend’ y ‘Cherry Falls’, pero después sucede lo mismo de siempre: explotan el género y el público termina perdiendo el interés; en el 2001 nos llega ‘Valentine’ dirigida por Jamie Blanks, director de la mencionada ‘Urban Legend’. Fue una de las últimas buenas entregas slasher, que tiene todos los elementos del género: la broma que sale mal, la venganza, muertes elaboradas y gory, the final girl y el giro en la trama. Toda una delicia para los amantes del género. El Blu-ray de Shout Factory tiene audio en inglés y subtítulo en inglés. NO tiene audio ni subtítulo en español.

Por fin sale esta magna joya de culto del terror del nuevo milenio. Una calidad de imagen sumamente superior y un monton de extras que superan las 4 horas. Su único "pero", como todas las de Shout y Scream factory, la falta de subtitulos Joya magna.
