Im planning to use it tethered now on a PC like any other scanner so at least it will be used. There are scanners that allow you to hold the push button for a second or so to open the OSK so will be buying one of these.Well made bit of kit and comes with a fairly long lead, a Bluetooth Dongle and a fair selection of bar codes on the instruction sheet to set it up easily. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've bought over 100 of these so far *by C***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 5, 2021* My records show that I have bought 107 of these so far and I do hope they keep supplying them.For the price they are unbeatable in my view (for our use case). I'm sure you could buy a more rugged barcode scanner if you were prepared to pay hundreds of pounds and I have had a couple go wrong but they are much more robust than the other models I've tested at a similar price point. We have them linked to android phones for logging 1d barcodes.They read the codes very well, even though refelctive/lamiated surfaces.I think that the only reason you would be disapointed is if you want to read barcode of phones and other screens.
