(without cpap equipment)?** A: I have used this strap as such. It won't help you quit snoring completely but does help reduce snoring. At least for me. **Q: Does the Primada super deluxe cpap chin strap have two straps to use for the back of the head to keep the chin strap from moving?** A: No longer. The current version has one strap, it's sewn to the headband, and can't be moved. It's also very short, making the strap completely unusable for large heads. **Q: How effective is the strap at reducing snoring?** A: I does keep your mouth closed, so it worked for me. But it led to a case of contact dermatitis, so I went to a full face mask (Simplus) instead.
