It's big enough for our 8 lb kitty but doesn't command a lot of space in our office. The best feature is there is no chance of pee spilling over if your kitty "aims high" since the roof is the lid! But once we started to move things around I found out it was perfect. It’s on the side of the couch and it hides perfectly, . We are thinking about making it like a little night stand and maybe place a lamp on top, I’m not sure if it will work but material is very sturdy and lid seems like it will support something like that, plus it’s spacious so cats fit perfectly in there , I have 3 , a 3 yr old who’s around 10 -15 pounds , a 2 yr old and a 9 month old and all of them likes it and are doing fine.
