Review: Excellent Series - This series is aimed toward children, but I would argue that an adult beginner would benefit significantly too. Very thoroughly thought-out with simple explanations. Lots of color and charts. This bundle is an exceptional value. I particularly like having the case, since they’re not offered in hard cover. Realize that part of the reason for the great price is they’re still the first edition, i.e. later editions are available (but not as a bundle). I also purchased the Music title to make this series complete (for me). Turns out that it’s the best book on music for beginners that I’ve ever seen. I recommend all four titles.
