Review: easy install - work6ed great on my 1436 jon boat
Review: Transom trolling motor into bow mount - Great product to run a regular transom trolling motor on the bow. I have since bought a foot pedal trolling motor so I gave this to my buddy and he uses it on his jon boat now. Easy installation as it requires no drilling. Will fit any transom motor, will have to spin the head around like I did for my Minn kota but that’s straightforward as just removing a screw and spinning it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will it fit on side of tracker 175 tf**
A: I would measure your gunnel depth and contact manufacturer with that dimension to be certain. The mount is well made and works great for side slabbing crappie. 😎

**Q: will this go on a kayak?**
A: Short answer : I don't know but think it is possible. I put it on a 14' Lowe Jon Boat. It had a curved bow not allowing a normal trolling motor mount. The Procontroll worked great. I have kayaks and will eventually try it out. I would now but it is in FL and I'm in IN. I Think it might work if you have sides on your Kayak that allows it. May need to use a board to help brace.

**Q: Are there any pictures of it on other boats other than a jon? I have an eight one alumacraft v hull. I'm sure it would fit. It sounds like it will**
A: Sorry I do not have any, but it will fit up to a three inch wide top rail.

**Q: Will it fit the side of v hull utility boat?**
A: It's very adjustable, should fit. Very well built.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Transom trolling motor into bow mount

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple solution to mounting a trolling motor
*by B***N on April 27, 2025*

So far, it's perfect. I've been trying to figure out how to properly mount my trolling motor up front without having to build a deck (which really wouldn't work on my boat). Clamps perfect to the side, motor sits great on it. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars (yet) is because I've seen other reviews where they say it starts coming loose using more than a 30lbs motor and I've got a 50. I anticipate it holding though, it feels just as solid as it can be. I just need to finish some wiring and I'll test it out (hopefully) tomorrow or the next day and will update
