It stops the cold breeze coming in from my electric fireplace. As advertised, it does NOT stop all cold air from coming in, as it lets the house “breathe”. It’s 90% better than before and there is no ridiculous draft freezing my living room. The floor is still cold in front of the fireplace, which is fine. Im not sure the material is worth the price but the savings in my heating bill pay for it in less than a month so I guess its worth the price. My measurements on my vent were not an exact match but it fits pretty well.
