The CD comes with 4 practice tests which are nice, and it gives good explanations for answers to the test. The only thing I didn't like about this book was the essay writing review. The example topics they give are way off from what the topics will really be like on the test. I'd say pair this book up with  The Praxis Series Official Guide . The official guide will give you a better understanding of what topics will be on the writing section. Using both books, I passed the Praxis I on the first try. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good book, Prepared me well *by A***G on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 4, 2011* Future teachers taking this test will be a bit nervous taking the Praxis I. I know I was and this book helped me study for the exam. If anything just knowing the format and what type of questions they will ask really helps. It's different from the SAT, so don't make that mistake, and this book will help you differentiate the Praxis from it. The included CD is nice, but I find that a physical copy is the best way to go. The book was brand new and exactly as advertised. Could have been packaged better but no worries. My wife is using this book on the daily. She said it is the best for Praxis 1 that she has found. Everything they advertise is what you get. It has her feeling well prepared for the hard test. Can never have enough practice tests in there, though.
