Basically, I just glued each edge, and tightened the camlocks. You do have about 45 seconds of open time, which is enough to get everything positioned. The surfaces being glued together were MDF and Melamine. This stuff bonds really well to both. I made a mistake, and tried pulling 2 pieces apart after 2 minutes, and no dice. A rubber mallet would not separate the 2. The one thing I have found is that you really need to make sure this stuff is good and hot for it to flow. If you put a new stick in a hot gun, you still need to let it get hot for the recommended 12 minutes, regardless of the green/red indicator light. Other than that, it works perfectly. It's expensive, but worth it if you need a good glue joint on non-porous surfaces. Review: Dried in tube before use. - Have previously used this glue and loved it, but last two tubes I have ordered have been hardened in the tube before use.
