Review: Do it, your nose will thank you. - Wow! I’ve never ever received an item and felt it was so vastly superior to other options that I needed to write a review immediately, until I tried the airmax nasal dilators. I have silent acid reflux that inflames my whole Eustachian tube, my ears are always popping and it’s always harder to breather. Recently I started using the mute system, because it was all cvs had when I went. They worked okay but I always felt like they needed adjusting and, while they stayed in just fine, they didn’t stay where I’d put them, they’d just slide to a spot they sat in better. And after about 4 hours of using them, my nose was pretty irritated. So I bought these and the sleep rite sport dilators as well. The sleep rite has no size control and the plastic is too thick for my grumpy nasal passages. When I put these into my irritated nose, it was incredible. While I can’t technically say I don’t feel them (only in the sense that I feel my nostrils are stretched) they are VERY comfortable (thanks to the reviewer who noted there’s no sharp spots 😊). Seriously I could wear these all days with extreme comfort. I barely notice they’re in my nose. And they do exactly what I need them to—the mute ones I used sometimes felt like they were also blocking my breathing if they were in the wrong spot. These ones don’t feel obstructive or intrusive in any way. And—there’s more—even though they’re not noduled to stay in, the material that mack’s Uses is the grippy kind of soft plastic that by its nature is able to stay put. I’m in love. Officially found the brand to save me from my breathing woes. There’s a lot of nasal dilators out there, some of them have better reviews. But I’m betting none of those people tried these before they wrote their reviews. I can’t imagine why anyone would prefer any other product of this one.
Review: It works, but doesn't stay in place - The more I used this dilator, the more I hated it. But it does work well to open up the nostrils and make breathing a lot easier. The problem is that it won't stay in place if your face moves at all or if you have an itchy nose and go to scratch it. Talking, drinking & eating, sneezing, coughing, facial expressions -- all cause the dilator to shift out of position. If you have a lot of itchiness on your face and/or nose, each time to you go to scratch an itch, the dilator shifts. You also have to remove it every time that you blow your nose, so if you have allergies, it gets to be annoying. Sometimes it even falls out of my nose in the middle of the night. I would wake up in the morning and if the dilator was still in my nose I just couldn't wait to take it out of my nose. By the morning, the feeling of dilator in your nose is somehow worse. I used it nightly for a week and then just got sick of it and started using the nasal strips that go on the outside of the nose which I've been using for years. They stay in place and are much more comfortable and you can blow your nose and they stay put. But since the nasal strips do sometimes cause skin irritation, I will hold on to the dilator so I can use that until the skin irritation clears up. The dilator is also good for naps because it doesn't have to be in the nose for that long so it doesn't get to be that annoying and you don't have to waste a nasal strip for just a short nap. I do have a rather large nose, in my opinion, and that may be part of the problem with the dilator shifting out of position easily for me. I am using the larger sized dilator and I wonder if it is still a little too small for my nose. I'm not sure why the company markets these as being good for a certain amount of time. They appear to be made of silicone and as far as I know, silicone stays stable over time. Not like rubber which hardens and dries out over time. I have things in the kitchen made of silicone and they last for years. I don't think you will have to keep buying new dilators every couple of months like they recommend. I think they are just trying to sell more dilators to make more money. I've had mine for over a month and there is no difference in its feel or function. So, these nasal dilators do work well to make it easier to breathe, so if you are unable to wear the nasal strips, I would recommend these. But just be aware that they shift out of position easily and you will have to adjust them quite often.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: can I wear these day and night?**
A: Thank you for your interest in our products and I'm happy to help. Yes, the nasal dilator can be used day and/or night. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact us. Thanks!

**Q: Can I wear these with a healed nose piercing stud?**
A: Thank you for your interest in our products. We don't recommend using any internal nasal dilator with nose piercings. The device could get caught on the jewelry (during insertion or removal) and potentially cause trauma or just simply irritate the already compromised, and delicate, skin in the nasal passages. We also recommend against wearing (or doing) anything that might negatively affect the fit and performance of the device. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact us. Thanks!

**Q: why is the clear more expensive than the orange ?**
A: Didn't know it came in orange my only option was clear

**Q: Do these come in sizes and can they fall out while sleeping?**
A: Thank you for your interest in our products and I’m happy to help. Yes, the AIRMAX nasal dilator is made in a small & medium size. We always recommend that new users purchase our trial pack with both sizes in it so they can determine which size fits them best. When properly fitted, the AIRMAX Nasal Dilator should stay securely in place. We encourage users to wear the dilator consistently for two weeks to get accustomed to the fit and to notice an improvement in breathing. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact us. Thanks!

### ⭐ Sores and bleeding after only 3 DAYS of use
*by M***E on May 8, 2021*

I understand these nose dilators are supposed to hug the inside of your nose so they don’t fall out. However, there’s no way it’s normal for it to cause me to develop sores accompanied with bleeding in both nostrils where the appliance held inside my nose. This happened after only three days of use. I don’t have a big nose either—it’s actually quite small—so I know that’s not it. Yes, this helped me sleep better, but I shouldn’t have to suffer through pain and discomfort just to get a restful sleep. Looking at the other reviews, I find it reassuring that it’s not just me whose experiencing this. This was not worth the money at all. Thankfully, I got a refund and I’ll be looking into other nose dilators to try. I don't recommend these though, and I’ll never try this brand again.
