I just saw the fine print of not working with the google mesh router. Is that true? I already purchased... :)

Yes you are using 220 single phase. You can separate the 220 line into 115 Or 120 V meaning red wire go to one outlet. The black wire goes to the second outlet this will work but if you’re going to put 220 into a single outlet this system Will not work

can you dim the lights using the switch?

After removing the old 3-way switch, only 4 wires were in the wall box-live wire, neutral wire, ground wire, and only one load wire. can anyone help?

This switch is not a three way switch. It does not have a wire that would connect to the traveler wire from your old switch.
