Nathan, 16, lives alone with his father Stephane. A newcomer in high school, he is invited to a party and falls in love with Louis, a boy in his class. They find themselves out of sight and kiss each other, but someone takes a picture of them. Soon, the photo is published on Facebook and a storm overtakes their lives as they face bullying and rejection. Review: Excellent film, ignoring the heavy prejudice that belongs in the past - My first impression of this film was that there was virtually no preamble / lead in to the story and that it is a film that should have come out in the 1970s not in present day France (I would hope that there is more tolerance nowadays in France than depicted). It was never the less a very enjoyable movie with plenty of eye candy, especially the actor who plays Louis, a typical French beauty. Spoilers .................. Louis is an amateur boxer and there is a scene in which he joins in beating up the boy he finds attractive so as to hide his true sexuality (in front of his peers in the school locker room) which was somewhat unbelieveable I thought. Apart from that it is an excellent film. One of my favorite scenes is when Theo, Louis's younger brother sneeks into his brother's bedroom (when Louis is being ignored by his parents as punishment for lying) `for a cuddle' which Louis gives him as well as a kiss on the head. If only all siblings could get along so well. Thankfully there is a happy ending with the 2 lads getting together although Louis's Father `needs more time' to accept his sons sexuality. Review: Good real life movie - It arrived as described and it is a French movie about young people.

Gentle, bit drama but piece of work.
There are not enough words to describe this movie, it's gentle, bit drama, struggle with feelings but most of all good actors. You feel completely at home, kind of an feel good movie.

Fun jaunt - little overblown in places
Great film about two boys loving each other but living with different families. There is little twist to the movie and most of it is really predictable, but the acting is very done well and the characters are mostly thought out well enough. Some of the conflict feels a little over the top and maybe a bit forced, although there are some scenes which the conflict is well placed and shows the inner-turmoil of the characters (sorry trying not to say any spoilers!).

A difficult subject was handled in a sensitive and intelligent way. The different approach to their sons' emotional preferences was useful. The initial failure of gay teachers to support Nathan is disappointing, just as the "coming out" of Nathan's teacher Catherine is one of the most satisfying scenes in the film. Others are the unrestrained embrace between the two boys on the rooftop where Louis had been contemplating suicide and the sight of the youngsters lying side by side in bed with the arm of one thrown casually across the other. And no, they did not have sex. For now love is enough.
