I buy based on reviews. This one is an anomaly, it is by far the cheapest one for what you get yet had great reviews. Now I know why, you could use this cord for a rock climbing rope in an emergency situation. It's the thickest charging cord I've ever had. And the head is designed very small to be able to fit in cases. Great design, great materials, great price. Wow. I never do reviews but this one was very worthy of it. Also, it came in a commercial grade bag, with a cable tie, placed in a medical grade ziploc bag, all inside a thick, hard box. The shipping material alone is worth more than the price of the cord. So far it works as advertised for charging and data transfer. I went with this cord because it supports faster data transfers than many of the more expensive ones. I haven't had any issues with it yet but I also haven't used it a lot or owned it long. The one complaint I have is that the cord is fairly stiff but as such, it seems to be built sturdy. But it makes using it in my car with the phone on the dash, a bit tricky because the cord wants to rotate the phone a bit. It's a minor issue (for me) but still worth mentioning. If that wasn't a thing, this would have easily been 5 stars. If you need a lose, floppy cord, this probably isn't the best option.
