360 Degree Ceiling Mount Occupancy Sensor, 110-240V PIR Motion Sensor Switch, High Sensitive Movement Detector Light Switch, Neutral Required

Great little sensor, put 2 up, 0ne in hallway, one on landing. My switch for hallway is next to the front door, so at night when you come out of living room, have to go to front door to put light on, but no more ! This sensor works a treat and very responsive. Takes a few goes, to get time & light sensor conditions right (ie: don't want it coming on in daylight), but once set up, can just leave light switches alone. You can override them & turn off if you want to, via light switch. One piece of advice, if you got a cat or dog, beware ! My cat triggers off sensor through the night, so putting a sensor on landing wasn't best idea !!

Finally figured out settings that work, it took a bit of time to get this right,great seller communication too, they've offered me support after an initial negative review which I've left below for reference. So the good thing is the light turns on most of the time, the bad part is it doesn't matter what settings I try it's either on and off without an movement in the room or just off permenantly. Right now I can either leave the light on or leave it off, product isn't working as intended at all, instructions are also in broken English.

Wanted this to switch lights on and off in a small room upon entry / exit. Hence the light sensor is not important to me but the motion sensor and the time delays are important. Happy to say that it works well, switching on consistently when it should and also is adjustable to give a suitable delay before switching off again (without leaving someone in the dark or wasting electricity). Easy to install as well.

Very easy to instal and motion detection was excellent as was the timer but unfortunately even on the lowest LUX setting the unit still turned on in a full sun lit room, so would be counter productive as it would increase the electric bill Not save money. If I wanted a Pir where the light sensor was not needed I buy it but I bought this for the light sensor so sent back and received a full refund.

Fitted OK, worked well in a bathroom setting for about 10 months, then began to not switch off when it should. The 'on' period could be measured in hours, rather than minutes. Tried adjusting the time setting, but now nothing will make it turn off the light. Checked for cobwebs/spiders triggering, not that. Tried disconnecting power and reapplying, but it is still permanently on. It was used to switch the lights and an extractor fan, within the rating. Perhaps the intermittently humid atmosphere in our bathroom, or the fan motor, adversely affected it, maybe it would last longer in a drier room or with a simpler 'lights only' load. Hence my 3 stars overall, rather than less. This was fitted to avoid the noisy ‘click-clack’ of a traditional ceiling pull switch, which was disturbing sleep in an immediately adjacent room. It solved that issue completely, being almost silent in switching operation. Just a shame it didn’t last, but as said, could be the inductive load of fan motor was more than anticipated.

This one keeps an eye out for movements and won't turn off until there are no movement for the preconfigured time (your choice). Hubby opened it up to have a look inside and he said this one has more than triple the electrical components of all the others we tried out, indeed this one means business. It has THREE variable controls: 1) LUX setting, you can choose when it starts sensing, ie daylight or night 2) Time Delay setting, you can choose how long it will stay on after the last movement is detected 3) Sensitivity setting, you can choose how sensitive you wan it to be (great for pet owners) All in all, exceptionally happy with the purchase. Similar professional quality TRUE occupancy sensors are often priced around the £40 mark, very happy to have discovered this one. Another feature I would love is it could fade-in and fade-out the lights, for now my hubby has placed a V-PRO dimmer between this sensor's output and the lights to at least give us a nice professional LED fadein.
