The cushioning is perfect to keep the table level, firm (no rocking) and absorbing vibration. That's what I use them for and they are perfect. The material is a sturdy feel, a little "squishy" but also firm enough to support the table.

**Q: I wanted to use this as a spacer of sorts. how much compression does it have?**
A: It will compress to about half it's thickness but not eaisly. It's pretty dense stuff.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the foam?**
A: 12”x12”x2” nominal.

**Q: How can I smooth an edge I cut to fit on this? The cut edge is not as smooth as the originl sides.**
A: I would try a Dremel or a small sander

Used these for a DIY kydex press. The pads adhered great to wood and is holding up fine. They dont seem to spring back to original due to it leaves light indention in the foam but them work and it causes no issues especially since this is not what the item is made for. Great item for the price.
