Arena Tech Fin

Arena Fins are made of a very comfortable material. It's like you are swimming with those Croc sandals. The hydrodinamic effect is perfect. I noticed that it's easier when you want to exercise kicks underwater. Other exercises like pedaling movements and chest kicks and you feel almost as you were barefoot. Once you're out of the pool they weight nothing to carry them.

These fins are a no go for me. First, They float, as in on top of the water. This forces the back into hyperextension which, for my back, is not a good thing. Second, there is no flex whatsoever. I tried them while doing the backstroke and they would have been much easier on the toes and knees if there was a bit of bend to them. I think I may be able to use them in the backstroke, but have not used them since the trial run so do not know. This was, in my view, an expensive mistake since, like shoes, once they are used, there is no return.

Light, sturdy, not too large. I am so glad I went with this one which I considered mid-range rather than based on price. Really excited to try them on later!

I use them at least four times a week for thee years. I love them. Would definitely recommend.
