Has anybody here tried this? Does work out ok?** A: Yes it worked for me. But if you want to plan for bootcamp i recomend usb3 ssd fullsize but Not this pocket stick ,this gets heat a lot .a lot means..you cant touch and hold it in ur hand or put in pocket after 15min usage .you need wait for another 10min for cool down.And you will get more read and write rate with usb3 ssd than mac internal mechanical hdd.Also if there no need install windows in imac machine.even you can install windows to go in another machine..and windows to go will work in any machine ..even on imac bootcamp. **Q: Can I load and run windows 7 on it?** A: you could i run ubuntu on mine and it is great - you just need to install windows to the stick **Q: what is the serial number for drive?** A: These units do not have an accessible S/N.
