GF360G Laser Level

Having used the Bosch and dewalt Laser levels in the past, I was concerned that this one seemed to be low cost. Out of the box, it was really obvious that it is a well made product. Feels solid and fits nicely in its carry case. I charged the battery as detailed in the simple instruction manual and away I went. Firstly, I set out against known mark ups on site. I needed to confirm that it was accurate. It's spot on, dead accurate and perfectly clear. The repeater is brilliant when setting out in larger rooms and in bright daylight settings. I use this for setting our bathrooms and pipe runs and as with any tool, as you find something that works well, you use it more and more. I purchased the fine adjustment base too and it's so much better than tweaking the whole unit back and forth until you get it right. Quick to set up and easy to get in the right position first time. Three dimensional set out lines are brilliant and easy to set up. Dr setting out suspended drainage runs, the lock feature is a must, allowing you to fix a line with a gradient. This will definitely spend more time in use than in the box and I would recommend it to any tradesman as a tool that will make a difference every day you use it.

I wanted this to help to make a footing for a garden wall in addition to the usual stuff that you'd need a level for indoors. I was going to go for a Bosch (more expensive, great reviews, and I already use Bosch tools) but I looked at this one and a couple of others with a similar number of 5-star reviews. It has large and small screw holes underneath - the small one IS for any standard photographic tripod (another reviewer said otherwise; I've got a Cullmann and a Manfrotto, the latter used in the vid). As another has mentioned, it worked straight out of the box as the battery was already charged. You just pull off the insulating plastic strip from the battery and switch on. Switch the pendulum lock (for transport) off and it self-levels. It was as precise as claimed in the bumpf. I tilted the tripod head within the 4-degree range and the laser was accurate each time. The promo videos show how bright it looks on nice pale indoor surfaces, but the vid here gives an idea how it looks outside against dark wood or soil rather than white walls, so a green laser was necessary for that instead of a red one, I think. Dead handy.

Hi all I bought one of these last year and it really is fantastic. I'm a joiner and I use this all the time. When I bought it I was reading the reviews on it and a couple mentioned the battery didn't last long. Well I don't know what they were doing but mine last all day. It has never gone flat, I just charge it every night, i don't know how long it lasts becouse it has never run flat like I said. I'm generally only using one of the laser angles at a time or maybe two, possibly if I use all three it might not last as long but I can assure you that this is a good piece of kit. I have owned and used many different lasers dewalt etc and nothing touches this for quality and value for money. Last week a work colleague knocked it off it's magnetic mount and it dropped on the floor and one of the laser windows got a crack in it. The laser still worked perfectly ok but were the crack was it made the laser line a bit hazy so I emailed them to see if I could purchase a new window and they replied straight away. I couldn't believe how fantastic there customer support is, they told me I could have one free of charge but they were out of stock at the moment and didn't expect them for another thirty days or they would send me a laser that has been returned with a fault and I could take the part off that, so I asked for that. The new laser has turned up three days later and I can't find any fault with it, so now I have two lasers for the price of one. Absolutely fantastic product and service. used to plum up up door lining and fitting shelves. I would recommend purchasing the tripod for this. tested for outside use and was able to view laser at distance . and used the handheld sensor and over 20 m which appeared to work perfectly. a very happy customer excellent value.

This product and the company are 1st class. The lazer body is made of hard rubber and is unlikely to slip out of your hand (unlike my old laser). The lasers are sharp and crisp and has pulse mode option for outdoor work (need to purchase the detector). It's also great that you can take the battery out and charge, but can still use the laser with a flat battery by plugging the cable directly into the unit. The unit is quite heavy so it wont move easily. There are other great features, such as, not worrying about whether it will fit on your tripod, as it comes with both threads fitted. Customer support when I contacted them where very good and any questions or problems get resolved quickly. Also its reassuring that you can buy accessories for there products, including batteries and the laser covers. I've just ordered the micro adjustable unit and hopefully soon their laser detector. So it's a big thumbs up from me, for a great choice of products and with fantastic service to back it all up. Oh, and a 2 year guarantee on this model. Reassuring, as all my old lasers broke down just after the 1st year.

I always used a normal spirit level before buying this product. This has allowed the checking of a lot more than just level and to a greater accuracy and over a greater distance. You can check how well a doorway is made by setting it into the doorway and adjusting it to show how straight the frame is (all round in one go!), very handy if you are going to be hanging a door. The unit allows you to have 1,2 or 3 planes on at a time and you can cycle through these with the power button. The level allows the use of auto-levelling or to have it fixed and align it with other edges to continue a line or see an angle from it - very handy. If the level needs to be set more 'level' so the internal auto system can work, it flashes the laser to let you know - again very handy function. I used it outside in the sunshine and it is usable although easier in the shade and great indoors. This unit I realise I should have bought a long time ago, it’s so handy to just check or fix things, way better than a sprit level. I am finding this as my go to tool instead of a normal level, even if I do get the spirit level out, I eventually go get this to check and make the adjustments using the Huepar 3D. I also bought a spare battery and the bracket accessory. Not needed the battery as this laser lasts all day for me. Great product makes all the difference to any small building project. Photo shows a target I printed as the brown wood makes it hard to see and the target allows better alignment. 4.8m wood fixed level to wall using the Huepar 3D.

I bought this tool a couple of years ago. I've used it frequently, for various DIY tasks, and I feel a little guilty that I've not left a product review. I was on the edge of buying this laser level for months. I had the suspicion that it would be helpful in many ways but I didn't know if I could justify the cost. I eventually went for it and I'm really chuffed that I did. I've used this for levelling floors, hanging picture rails and shelves, installing kitchen units, chasing in and installing electrical sockets and many, many more tasks. I almost bought a cheaper model that didn't have the 360 degree function that this does but I'm so glad I didn't. Pressing the power button and having a full 360 degree perfectly level line to work to, along with extremely accurate vertical lines at 90 degrees is incredibly useful. Just today I used this to mark out the position of ceiling joists in preperation for fitting new plasterboard to a water damaged ceiling. Attaching the laser unit to my camera tripod (the mounts are included) I was able to extend the line of visible joists under the old plasterboard and set out the 90 degree cuts needed for a nice square finish fot the new boards to be installed. Yes, I could do this with a square, but this laser makes it so much easier. The controls couldn't be simpler. Unlock the pendant and the device goes into automatic levelling mode. So long as you have the base unit within 4 degrees of level, the auto system will give you a highly visible green line that's perfectly horizontal. There are also two other lines, both vertical and at 90 degrees to each other, so you get an all round 'box' to mark out to. You can leave the pendant locked and the unit then becomes a very useful straight line marker. You can have the lines set to any angle you like and mark out stair rails, tiling, walls etc. To remind you that the unit isn't self levelling, the green lines 'blink' every few seconds. At first I found this irritating and wished it could be turned off. With experience of using the laser level I now think it's an essential addition and a very clever function. It would be so easy to make a mistake without it! All in all a great buy. It's one of those tools that I don't use daily, but when I do need it I'm extremely grateful to have it to hand.

Just got my 3 way Huepar laser level and I must say I was impressed out of the box. I've used the Dewalt and this may not be 100% as bright and rugged but it is VERY close. I also bought the detector as I wanted the complete system for out door use. If you are tiling or wallpapering it is an absolute dream. No more plumb lines or levels, just switch it on and you are away. I also wanted to be able to do a 90 degree marking of building footing for a shed and worked without fault. What is impressed me most was the pulse mode with the detector in daylight. I have a long garden which we are levelling. 35M no problem and the detector was giving me 1mm accuracy. WOW. I would recommend this product and I rarely do reviews. Comes with a very sturdy mounting bracket if you have a survey staff. I don't think anyone would be disappointed considering it is a fraction of the price of pro system with comparable performance.
