I bought one of these for some outdoor landscape lights and was so happy that I proceeded to buy two more for the additional 12v light zones and an AC version by the same company for some 110v Bistro lights. Will each remote control one switch. They will all be together and I need 3 remotes to separately control 3 switches.** A: I don't see the documentation that used to be provided in the product information, but the remote has to be programmed to the unit. I'm reasonably sure each remote will be different - and in the case you needed each of the three remotes to operate all three units, you can program each unit to work with multiple remotes, effectively giving each remote "permission" for all units. The trouble with posting questions here, is that you more often get answered by simple fools who have bought these items before you -rather than to have SELLERS or MANUFACTURERS answer these questions. THIS fool is pretty sure you'll be FINE for the planned use you described. It operates the aftermarket fuel pump and two amber beacons (the beacons visually alert me when the fuel pump is running so I don't forget to shut it off). Prior to this I was not able to shut off the fuel pump while working for extended periods of time up on the platform. I could stop the engine, but the fuel pump would continue running and without the engine running the pump gets very hot and will fail prematurely. I would have to leave the engine running which wasted $4/gallon gas. Now, I push the Off button while up on the platform and the fuel pump shuts off, and when I'm ready to move or change elevations I just push the On button and can start the engine right up. This is exactly what I needed. Time will tell if it holds up long term, but so far I'm very impressed! I will follow up in the future with long-term impressions. 07/18/25: Update - this remote control switch continues to impress me as time goes by. It has worked flawlessly every time I've used it. Having one remote control up on the platform and the other near the ground control panel allows me to shut off the fuel pump from either location. The original batteries in the fobs are still going strong, and I like that the fobs have a red led to visually confirm each button press.
