Tantric Kali: Secret Practices and Rituals

I learned a lot from it. The information is presented clearly, with references, quotes, and precise explanations. It’s not a “how-to” guide for magic, but rather a thoughtful exploration of tantric worldview and philosophy. I especially appreciated the use of tables, sources, names, and historical context — it helps build a deeper understanding instead of just giving поверхностные идеи. A great read if you’re interested in Kali and tantric traditions on a deeper level. The book itself is comfortable to hold — softcover, lightweight, and easy to read.

Love this book! For westerners on the Tantric Kaula path who are using the inner Guru in us to proceed until we find our human Guru. Om Kring Kalikaye Namah!! 🕉🕉🔥🔥🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰

I have searched throughout all of Hinduism searching for something that gave ode to Kali. I finally found it in this book. I'm a witch, so this book allows me to tap into Kali freely in my circle. I love the practices and rituals. Tribute to Kali released me from serving a Life sentence unjustly.

I am a spiritual person, consider myself a Christian, also interested in all religions because there is much similarity in almost all religions. I am drawn to the other religions due to some of the amazing rituals performed. Although I may not ascribe to them, I enjoy reading about them. Also Amazon has many, many books on religions and esoteric subjects. That is why I recommend Amazon as the place to buy all reading matter. They don't censor religious reading including Christianity, as of yet.

It mentioned much of what i expected

Simplemente encantada, no he tenido mucho tiempo para disfrutarlo pero lo que he leído muy contenta

Kail practices and rituals described by one who truly knows.

Es excelente muy buen libro

Love this book. It's a very long practice but the author has given suggestions for a shorter version, which I appreciated.

I so love Kali Amma! Although can't use it puja, but how to know tantra prayer Shakti

There are many meditations/visualizations to practice in this book, along with mantras, diagrams, descriptions of rituals, poetry and hymns, and general information about the path, its history, and lineage. This will keep me busy for quite some time, as a relative beginner on this path...one I have been on for a little while without quite realizing it. I finally found a home in Kali.

Daniel Odier’s Tantric Kali: Secret Practices and Rituals is a slim yet powerful volume, spanning just over a hundred pages, but its brevity belies its density. Cataloged at the Library of Congress and already enjoying an impressive reputation among practitioners of tantric meditation in Europe and the United States, the book distills an enormous depth of wisdom into a concise format. Every page, as another reviewer aptly put it, feels “juicy”—charged with insight, revelation, and an unapologetically radical spirit. Odier introduces Kali in a style that is bold, liberating, and exquisitely direct, unafraid of confronting the raw dimensions of the feminine sacred. Much of the material here explores themes and practices that are traditionally veiled in secrecy, for good reason: femininity in its naked intensity is not something to be casually discussed or reduced to cliché. Odier writes with a reverence that honors this subtlety, often framing truths in imagery rather than blunt exposition, which keeps the sacred veiled even as it is revealed. Beyond its content, the book’s presentation is also commendable—the print quality is sharp, the paper feels substantial, and readers are supported by a helpful bibliography, notes, and an index at the end. For anyone looking for an uncensored, authentic entry point into Tantric practices and Kali worship, this text offers a rare and precious compendium. More than just a guidebook, Tantric Kali is transformative on a deeply personal level. Odier invites readers to reconcile with their own sexuality and to approach femininity with respect rather than repression or fear. The book dismantles taboos surrounding sex, desire, and the female body, opening space for a more holistic acceptance of what it means to be human. Whether you are a seasoned student of Tantra or simply curious about Kali, this is a must-read—one that may shift not only your understanding of ritual and meditation but also your view of women, sexuality, and the sacred itself.
