Swallow well for something that is not a gel cap
They swallow reasonably well. I like the gel caps, but they are substantially more expensive than these are really fine.

My Dr. recommended these.
It's hard to determine the objective efficacy of the vitamins, but my Dr. recommended I take them after a fall and fractured some ribs. Haven't broken or fractured anything but then again I haven't fallen. Dr. recommended, so according to a medical mind they are effective.
