I'm seriously impressed and delighted. Great quality, works out of the box. WORKS! My Lenovo Yoga C940 has a long vent on the bottom, near the hinge (it's a convertible). It's generally standing on the desk in tent mode hooked up to a docking screen, keyboard etc and used for hours as my main desktop computer. The processor cores were generally running between 55-65 degrees C and of course the temperature was shooting up when I was asking the device to do something complex. It was getting hot, like all laptops. The fan kicks in when needed, but only when it's REALLY needed. That's Lenovo's way of keeping the device running very quietly most of the time. With the Klim fan placed "in the tent" the laptop is running between 40-50 degrees C. It gets even better (35-45 degrees) if you place the laptop on the desk as if you were going to use it, but raise the back (hinge side) and position the fan underneath, nearer the vent. I'm very happy with the result in tent mode.If you value your laptop get a cooler - but be careful. There are lots of different cooler fans out there because different laptops have different venting systems. Make sure you get a fan that suits your laptop. I was so impressed with the Zephyr (having chosen very carefully) that I decided to buy a cooler for my wife, who also docks her laptop at her office. But she's got a Surface Laptop 3, not a convertible, with completely different vents. So I asked the guys at Klim and got a very friendly, helpful and speedy response. I took their advice and I've ordered a Klim Ultimate for her. If my experience is anything to go by - go buy a Klim.

product does make a noise. This is actually useful in knowing when the computer is actually off. But can be a little distracting if watching a programme where noise levels drop.To avoid by putting headphones on can sometime be painful if noise surges and is not good for hearing long term.But product does seem to do its job of keeping temperature of computer low if used all the time. If it rises too much eventually core gets damaged seemingly irretrievably.

I am so in love with this little fan! It really cools down my mobile phone that normally gets quite hot with use. Its so quiet, i have it on my bedside table and it is unbelievably quiet and i have sensitive hearing lol. It also helps to keep me cool while i sleep. Its very sleek in its design and feels high quality too. I love that the feet stand fold out to place your phone AND/or a tablet. And it holds it firmly in place. And you can flatten the feet stand to put under a laptop to help the laptop to keep cool when in use. Also you can stand it vertical to use as pillar fan. Honestly, you wont regret buying it.

I had my eye on this for a while, then it disappeared for months. I purchased on unit to use in the office, as my laptop was getting a bit too hot, even when I replaced the thermal paste. It worked great in reducing the temperature of the device, great product.I then purchased another unit for my home office. It makes such a difference using it, there was a 20C difference in temperature in the CPU during summer, it is night and day!Thank you.

I have a hp gaming laptop where the vents are located underneath, it didn't quite to the job on its own, I purchased a tray and use the klim zephyr pointing at my gpu and have seen a 10 degree drop on my gpu so it runs at about 70 degrees, so on the whole I'm happy with the purchase

To anyone there. Please do not bother with any other product of table-top pads, etc - this is the best.I bought this product because my laptop was shutting down often due to overheating - I checked all other table pads with fans but I decided on this product because it is also good as a table-top fan for the summer. I got the product today, very happy, the air just go where it is needed, no need to put the laptop on any other surface or pad, it does the job quite well and the price is also very good. Highly recommended.

Was really good when it worked. But the build quality is very poor, the wires inside the connector came loose and so stopped working within a month.

Not going to lie or only say what's good about this, but from experience with a similar design I know these don't typically last long, the most notable reasoning behind such is the motor that spins the fan isn't great, could potentially be designed to be eco friendly by gears and chain system that takes what you put in and sends it into the fan part which sends it to a great system with a chain that leads to another great system what sends the energy back to the beginning creating a self powering system... That would literally require little alterations in the design besides the gear system and kinetic energy input method... That could even still use the motor to start, which would mean less stress put on the motor so it'll last way longer and only need a break system that makes a chain go slack so it stops rotation and must be disengaged after the fan stops to avoid the chain falling off and in turn not working
