ImPRESSive Putty MIX has ALL the same characteristics that make ImPRESSive Putty a good molding material. The MIX is lower cost because it has to be heated and mixed together prior to use. The ImPRESSive Putty MIX works really well with many casting materials. Best for use with -Polymer clay and clay, air dry clay, modelling compounds -Soap (hot melt, cold press, heat & pour) --Wax (soy, paraffin, beeswax, candlewax, crayon wax :)) --Resins: Room Temperature cure epoxy resins, urethane resins (polyurethane) including the fast cure ones for pieces less than 4 cubic inches --Low melt metal (Wood’s metal) --Polyester resins-Bondo, fiberglass resin We don’t recommend the Putty for plasters or concrete. Use the ComposiMold and Plaster Additive for plaster and cements. Compare this to silicone putties. For less than the price of one silicone putty mold, you can get ImPRESSive Putty and reuse it over and over again. Make mold anytime you want. To use the Putty for the FIRST TIME 1. Place all of the ImPREssive Putty on a microwave safe dish or wax paper. 2. Heat for 30 seconds and immediately stir while hot with a spoon for 30 seconds. 3. Place back in microwave for 15 seconds and immediately stir for another 30 seconds. 4. Let cool for about 15 minutes (be sure the putty is cool to touch but still warm). 5 Knead until color is uniform 6. Press your putty over your object 7. Place mold in the freezer for 20 minutes until firm to the touch. 8. Remove object and cast duplicates. TO RE-USE: Heat the putty for 30 seconds and allow to cool for 15 minutes before handling. Press ImPressive Putty onto your object. Place your mold in freezer for 20 minutes, remove part and pour in casting material. CAUTION: Not for use with edible casting materials (we have a food safe version available). The Putty is Hot when melted and can burn. Leaking Activator can stain furniture. Store sealed. Ages 10+up. Do not eat.
